Thai Beef Salad

Thai Beef Salad is in a league all by itself, with ribbons of rare steak, tons of fresh herbs, feathery slices of red onion, crunchy cucumber, hot peppers, and a tangy lemony dressing. Can you resist?

INGREDIENTS

Beef Salad ingredients
 Beef sirloin 150g
Cherry tomatoes (quartered) 6 pieces
Cucumber (julienned)   1 piece
Mint (chopped) 1 bunch
 Dried Red Chillies 2 pieces
Onion (chopped) 1 piece
Fish sauce 1½ tbsp
Coconut sugar 1½ tbsp
Lime juice 1½ tbsp

INSTRUCTIONS

Stir-fry the beef

Stir-fry the sirloin steak on medium heat until medium-rare. Set aside.

Prepare the dressing

Combine the fish sauce, lime juice, sugar and minced red chillies, and stir well.

Put together the salad

Slice the beef into thin strips, then toss into a salad bowl. Then add onion, cucumber and cherry tomatoes into the same salad bowl. Lather the dressing over the ingredients and mix well.

Plate your dish

Dress the plate with your salad, then sprinkle fresh mint leaves over the top of the salad before serving.
